Description of project
Phase 1
In 2012, asbestos was removed from the mast, building support structures, fire stops and seals in the heating area.
Phase 2
In August 2014, Phase 2 of the partial dismantling process began with the removal of 274t of steel. The building was dismantled as far as ground floor level. The entrance area (12 x 6m) is the only part of the structure that remained. It was covered with a new 12 x 18m flat roof.
